NFL BETTING PREDICTIONS - Rams travel to Seahawks for TNF, see what our 2 unit play is!

LOS ANGELES RAMS VS. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Hey guys, it’s Andre from PlusEV Sports with your NFL Thursday Night Football Betting Edge. It’s hard to believe that the NFL’s 100th Season is officially 25% in the books. The NFL season moves faster than any other! This revelation makes me sad...both as a fan and a handicapper. But here’s some upside: It’s finally October. Halloween is right around the corner, the fall foliage starts to bloom, and pumpkin spice everything is back. We begin our turn into the winter doldrums and the middle of the NFL season. This is where we begin to separate contenders from pretenders. Tonight’s game brings us a great matchup with the 3-1 LA Rams traveling to Century Link Field to take on the 3-1 Seattle Seahawks, with the Seahawks being favored by -1.5 points. Against the spread, the Seahawks are 2-2 and the Rams are 3-0 this season. We love it when these teams meet, because as history tells us, it’s #ShootOutCity. And Vegas suggests just that...with the over/under slated for 49.5. In the past three matchups these teams have seen at least 50 total points scored, and the last two with over 60, each being won by the Rams. While you might be reading this thinking we’re endorsing the Rams as dogs and continuing their dominant streak, we think differently. For starters, the Rams just look off. Jared Goff, who was injured in last week’s game, is missing receivers on passes he made last season. Todd Gurley does not look like the dominant Todd Gurley. It appears the NFL has adopted the Patriots’ Super Bowl playbook; by bottling up both Goff and Gurley to throw them off their game. LA is coming off a surprising loss at home, losing 55-40 to Tampa Bay, where Goff threw 68 times for 517 yards, two touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. The Seahawks, meanwhile, are coming off a 27-10 victory against the Cardinals where they didn’t have to do much of anything, as the defense racked up 4 sacks and one pick-six against Kyler Murray, and Chris Carson rumbled for 104 rushing yards, getting him out of Pete Carrol’s Dog-House. So why are we backing the Seahawks here? Well, the Russell Wilson Factor™ is a resounding reason why! He is leading the league with a 72% completion percentage, with a 118 Quarterback rating, and is 4th best with 8.6 yards per pass. In addition, he’s thrown for 8 touchdown passes without an interception. Russell Wilson also gets to take on one of the league’s worst defenses, as the Rams are ranked 26th overall compared to the Seahawks middling 15th ranked D. In addition, it doesn’t hurt that Pete Carrol is 15-3-1 ATS, and 17-2 straight up, in primetime games as coach of the Seahawks. It’s also worth noting that the Seahawks will be bringing back their Nickelodeon Slime Green uniforms, more formally known as “Action Green,” for this matchup. When wearing them, the Seahawks are 3-0, holding opponents to a COMBINED 26 points. We are backing the Seahawks and leaning the game over 49.5. - Seattle ML @ 1.843 > 1.8 [2u] on Nitrogen
