Why is SKT drafting the way they are?

By Tea The better title of this post should be.. Why is Faker only playing Urgot and Galio?
When you look at the stats, SKT are doing amazing compared to their 2018 year. They are 3-1, have only dropped 2 maps and even though they don't look perfect, we can assume that this team will get better and better as time goes on. It is not fair to compare them to current league leaders , Griffin. The core of Griffin has had time to play with each for over a year, which leads to their amazing team synergy. SKT is still brand new , they have gifted players in each position, and no one can write them off. The one thing that viewers and I probably have noticed is that their drafts are very different compared to other LCK teams, and that is that Faker and Khan has had 0 Irelia/Akali games.
You read that right, Faker and Khan has played 0 Irelia/Akali games in 2019 Spring. Not only is SKT banning these two champions the most (5 bans for Irelia, 6 bans for Akali, joint top with Cassiopeia at 6) , they straight out refuse to pick it when it is left open. It has brought to some LoL related online communities that perhaps Faker and Khan can't play the likes of Irelia/Akali!
Unless you are an insider within the SKT organization , it is impossible to truly know why SKT refuses to play the likes of Irelia/Akali, but one thing we can see from the drafts is that Faker has TO play a champion that can both start/disengage a fight. Khan has not played a single champion that can consistently start a fight or disengage for the team. He has not played a single Sion/Urgot game, and has mostly been playing split push carries. Clid who has been popping off has also mostly played early playmakers , the likes of Lee/Olaf/Zhao/ with only one game with Sejuani. Last we have Mata who has prioritized the Tahm Kench pick, who is very strong in lane and gives you complete map control. Faker's Urgot/Galio gives this draft a balance , the ability to push his lane, while not sacrificing too much in damage , able to help out his laners via either a global ult or teleport, and also strong enough early on to help Clid go in for those early fights. The story was pretty similar in Kespa Cup with a slight twist. Faker , was mostly on the Lissandra while it was Khan who was on the Urgot duty, and Khan did not look that comfortable in that sort of role in Kespa , even though the sample size is pretty small. Unless we actually see SKT play Irelia/Akali/Aatrox regularly like other teams, we will never know exactly why they aren't playing it , but with the way they are currently drafting their team shape and win conditions, Urgot and Galio seems to be the best champion available for Faker to help out his team.
